Canon Universal Send
Integrated as an option in the Canon ImageRUNNER line, Universal Send provides seamless conversion of paper documents into digital files and handles the forwarding of those files as PDF, JPG or TIF format images. Documents are scanned and converted as easily as making a copy. Digitized documents can be distributed as I-Fax, Email, FTP or network folder documents. No additional software or computer hardware is required with Canon ImageRUNNER, and Canon Universal Send.
Canon ImageWARE Document Manager
A Document Management platform from Canon which allows electronic libraries of printed material to be stored and indexed for later retrieval. Documents are made available to all your authorized staff without the need for all that paper.
Canon ImageWARE Publishing Manager and Publishing Manager Pro
Canon's document publishing application which can be used independently or as a fully integrated component of Document Manager. Provides sophisticated control of output options by chapter or page as desired. Control stapling, punching, duplexing, paper source and other output features by page, chapter or document as desired.
Canon Exclusive MEAP Technology
The term "multifunction" has been redefined with Canon's Multifunctional Embedded Application Platform (MEAP). The ability to add features, such as variable data capabilities, provide a powerful method of leveraging your imaging technology. Canon's ColorPASS Controllers take these features to the next level when partnered with Canon's high-quality and feature-rich colour imaging solutions.
Canon CodeHost BrightQ Pro Drivers for UNIX/LINUX
In the UNIX environment Canon has partnered with CodeHost BrightQ to provide full featured drivers for this rising star in the computer operating systems arena. They are available for free download from the CodeHost BrightQ web site . These drivers provide access to the full suite of document control and finishing features available on the Canon ImageRUNNER series.
Canon CITRIX Drivers
The Citrix Metaframe environment is becoming popular in large office networking environments and Canon provides drivers which can be linked through Citrix to provide complete paper source and document finishing capabilities from the Canon ImageRUNNER series. Locally connected Citrix environment devices will support full printing and control functions.
Canon Novell NDPS Gateway
In environments using Novell's Distributed Print Services (NDPS) Canon has provided a complete printing solution. Drivers and the NDPS Gateway Utility are available for free download from Canon's website . These provide a seamless link between Novell environments and the Canon ImageRUNNER family.
Canon HP Web JetAdmin Plug-ins
One of the most popular network printing administration utilities is the HP Web JetAdmin system. Allowing you to leverage your currently installed administrative functionality, Canon has provided Plug-ins for this administrative tool. These can be downloaded free of charge from the Canon website . Full featured monitoring and control resources are made available within the Canon ImageRUNNER family on your business network environment.
Canon SAP Device Type Extensions
Industrial sites using SAP products in their administrative and manufacturing environments need the confidence that print products introduced into their network will be fully compatible with these powerful control tools. In cooperation with SAP, Canon has produced fully functional SAP Device-Type Extensions. These can be downloaded from your SAP support site free of charge. Guelph Business Machines Ltd. will work with your SAP support specialists to link your Canon solutions smoothly into your SAP environment.
Canon Remote User Interface (RUI)
Networked Canon ImageRUNNER systems include the Canon RUI, a web-based administration tool which provides access to the ImageRUNNER's status and configuration from any user desktop on the network. Users can view status of jobs, while administrators can troubleshoot and configure options. As it is web-based, the RUI does not require the installation of software on any user desktop – It is fully supported from the ImageRUNNER itself!
Canon NetSpot Console
An administrative control tool which allows your network administrators to configure and monitor the status of print devices on your network on a real-time basis. Canon's NetSpot Console alerts your administrative staff immediately if a print device goes into an alarm condition. As a troubleshooting and control tool it is unmatched for flexibility and tight integration with Canon's ImageRUNNER products.
Canon Network ScanGear
Included with your Canon networked and print capable ImageRUNNER is the Canon Network ScanGear utility. This software is a TWAIN-based driver which links your ImageRUNNER through your network to allow document and image scanning to your computer desktop. Any TWAIN compliant software package can have access to the ImageRUNNER in minutes.

eCopy ShareScan OP
Optionally integrated into your Canon MEAP equipped ImageRUNNER, the eCopy ShareScan OP application provides the ability to leverage the scanning capabilities of the device and send scanned documents to network destinations, email addresses and FTP servers on the Internet. Using your LAN address book provides controlled access to these scanning capabilities and provides secure authentication of the sender's identity at all times.
eCopy Desktop
An annotation and forwarding tool which can be used with documents scanned and forwarded using either eCopy ShareScan OP or Canon's Universal Send. Scanned images can be modified by adding or removing text, inserting pictures using the rubber stamp tool, whiting or blacking out text or even converting a scanned document to a WORD or WordPerfect document using the included OCR (Optical Character Recognition) engine. Once modified the document can be forwarded to its destination using email or desktop fax solutions, printed to your connected printer or saved to your PC as desired.
